Alfredo Jose Tasso
Trained at the Scuola Internazionale di Comics in Turin; Alfredo Jose Tasso is a freelance comic book artist and illustrator based in Bosconero in northern Italy. His ArtStation profile lists work as a sketch card artist for Upper Deck and Crackwise documents that work in 2019-20 Upper Deck Marvel Annual. His comics career includes pencils and inks for Lego Batman Magazine issues 26; 27 and 29; pages for Guardiani Italiani l'Era di Empire from Emmetre Edizioni; a weird western short story called The Doomsday Machine for Leviathan Labs; and collaborations with Arancia Studio. His personal pieces lean toward fighting games and nineties Image comics: Darkstalkers; Guilty Gear characters such as Baiken and I-No; Street Fighter's Chun-Li; Battle Chasers; Cyber Force and The Darkness. A Black Cat redraw of the Amazing Spider-Man 607 cover shows his Marvel side. He works in traditional ink as well as Clip Studio Paint and Photoshop and posts on Instagram as @alfredojose_tasso.
