Frequently asked questions

Getting started
What is Crackwise?
Crackwise is a non-sports trading card catalog and collector platform built by Sanamslabs.
It covers Marvel, Star Wars, DC, VeeFriends, and more — giving you a searchable registry of sets,
cards, and parallels alongside recent eBay sale prices, collection tracking, and tools like
Ripsheet, Flipsheet, SketchSheet, and Bragsheet.
Is Crackwise free to use?
Yes. Browsing the catalog, checking prices, and tracking your collection are all free. Some features (like Flipsheet eBay listings) may require connecting a third-party account.
Do I need an account?
You can browse the catalog and check prices without signing in. An account is required to track your collection, post on Bragsheet, use Ripsheet/Flipsheet, claim an artist profile, or submit card scans.
The catalog
Which franchises and manufacturers are covered?
We cover Marvel, Star Wars, DC, and VeeFriends, with sets from Upper Deck, Topps, Fleer/Skybox,
Panini, Leaf, Rittenhouse Archives, Card.Fun, Kakawow, Bushiroad (Weiss Schwarz), and others.
Our registry has hundreds of sets dating back to the 1960s. If a set is missing, let us know on Discord.
What is a parallel or variant?
Most modern sets print each card in multiple versions — the base card plus "parallels" that differ in
foil, color, or print run. For example, a card might come in Base, Blue /99, Gold /50, and Red 1/1.
Crackwise lists every known parallel for each card so you can track exactly what you have.
Are ePack digital cards included?
Yes. Upper Deck ePack cards are physical cards that happen to be distributed digitally — they can be
redeemed for the real card. We include all ePack inserts and achievements in the checklist alongside
traditionally packed cards.
How often is the catalog updated?
New sets are added on a rolling basis, usually within days of a product's release. Parallels, insert sets,
and print run corrections are updated as sourced from Beckett, ChecklistCenter, and manufacturer PDFs.

Prices & comps
Where do prices come from?
Prices are derived from recent eBay sold listings matched to specific cards and parallels in our catalog.
We show a 90-day window by default so the data reflects current market conditions rather than a stale sale
from two years ago.
What does "—" mean where I expect a price?
A dash means no matching eBay sales were found in the last 90 days for that specific card and parallel.
It doesn't mean the card is worthless — it means the market is thin or the card hasn't traded recently.
Check the card detail page for a softer fallback that may reach further back.
A card I sold last week isn't showing a price. Why?
Our comp pipeline runs on a regular cycle, not in real time. There can be a lag of a few days between
when a sale closes on eBay and when it appears as a comp on Crackwise. Very recent sales may not be
reflected yet.
Features
What is Ripsheet?
Ripsheet is a box-break logging tool. Open a box, tap each card as you pull it, and Ripsheet builds a
pull log you can share. It's designed for both livestream use and personal tracking.
What is Flipsheet?
Flipsheet is designed to make listing your cards on eBay faster — pre-filled titles and descriptions from the
catalog, comp-backed pricing, and batch listing from your collection. We're currently building and testing it
incrementally before opening it up more widely. Stay tuned.
What is SketchSheet?
SketchSheet is our sketch card directory. It's a searchable database of one-of-a-kind sketch cards tied to
real artists. Artists can claim their profile, upload a signature and portfolio images, and collectors can
log sightings of sketches in the wild.
What is Bragsheet?
Bragsheet is a feed where collectors share their best pulls. Post an image of your hit, react to other
collectors' cards, and climb the leaderboard. Posts generate shareable links with a card preview image.
Can I submit a scan for a card that has no image?
Yes. If a card in the catalog has no photo, you'll see a "Submit a scan" button on the card detail page
(you need to be signed in). Uploaded scans go through a quick admin review before they appear publicly.
You'll receive attribution on the card page once approved.
Artist profiles
I'm a sketch card artist — how do I claim my profile?
Find your artist profile on SketchSheet and click "Claim this profile." You'll need a Crackwise account.
After you submit the claim, it comes to us for a quick verification before it's approved. If you run into
any issues, reach out on Discord or by email.
What can I do after claiming my artist profile?
Once claimed, you can upload your signature (auto-approved, shows on your profile immediately), add up to
8 portfolio images to showcase your art, edit your bio, and add links to your social accounts and shop.
Your account
How do I set or change my avatar?
Go to Edit Profile from the profile menu in the top nav. You can pick from several avatar styles powered
by DiceBear — hit "Shuffle all" to randomize the look — or upload your own photo. Changes save when you
click "Save changes."
How do I delete my account?
In Edit Profile, scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom of the page. Click "Delete account" and confirm.
This permanently removes your account and all associated data and cannot be undone.
