Erick Marshall
Erick Marshall comes from Mexico City and started making sketch cards at 15 with encouragement from an established artist. His first professional job was Spider-Man cards for Upper Deck. He studied communication and media rather than art and credits books; comics and fellow artists for his training. Crackwise lists him in 2022 Marvel Masterpieces; and a Venom sketch of his was showcased from 2020 Marvel Masterpieces. He has also drawn for Perna Studios; Thwip; RRParks Cards; Brailinz; Iconic Creations and Saturday Morning Cards; with subjects including Winnie the Pooh and the Rocketeer. For the Saturday Morning Cards Phantom set he produced main design cards plus nine color sketches and a pencil variant inspired by 1990s comics artists like Jim Lee and Mike Manley.
