Isiah X Bradley
Isiah Xavier Bradley grew up in Philadelphia; watching a painter parent at work in the studio; and later moved to Seattle. Art school training covered both traditional and digital media. Today Bradley works as a freelance illustrator; concept artist and comic book artist focused on superheroes; mages; aliens and other fantasy and science fiction subjects. Pieces often combine watercolor or acrylic with digital finishing; dramatic lighting and a cast that spans many body types and ethnicities. Jim Lee; Alex Ross and X-Men animator Larry Houston are cited influences. Card collectors know the name from one of one sketches in Upper Deck Marvel Annual 2018-19. Bradley returned to trading cards years later for 2026 Topps Chrome VeeFriends. Book covers; storyboards and live painting events round out the portfolio. Credits also appear as Isiah X Bradley and Isiah Bradley. Find more at isiahxavierbradley.com and on Instagram at isiah_xb.
