Laura Zuccheri is an Italian cartoonist; illustrator and painter born in Budrio in 1971. She is best known for her work with Sergio Bonelli Editore; starting on Ken Parker in 1994 and drawing Julia Le avventure di una criminologa from 1997 to 2012. For Les Humanoides Associes she illustrated the four volume fantasy series Epees de verre; and she won best artist at Lucca Comics and Games in 2011 for its second volume Ilango. She later moved to Tex with stories including Doc and La Gazza Ladra; and became the first woman to illustrate a Texone. Her realist style draws on Western and academic masters such as Frederic Remington; Norman Rockwell and Giovanni Boldini. On Crackwise she is credited with Unbound: Laura Zuccheri from 2025; a card release devoted to her art. Collectors of European comic art and painted Western and fantasy imagery will find her cards a strong pickup.
