Mark Parisi
Newspaper readers know Mark Parisi as the cartoonist behind Off the Mark; a single panel comic he launched in 1987. Syndicated today by Andrews McMeel; it runs in roughly 100 papers and is known for scheming pets; evil computers and talking plants. The National Cartoonists Society named it Best Newspaper Panel in 2008; 2011; 2017 and 2020; and its greeting card line won Best Greeting Cards in 2013. He brings that cartooning career to trading cards as well. Crackwise credits him in 2026 Topps Chrome VeeFriends; where the VeeFriends roster linked his Instagram @mark_parisi_otm. Market listings add Topps work on 2024 Garbage Pail Kids At Play; the 2025 Garbage Pail Kids 40th Anniversary set and 2025 Wacky Packages Halloween. For that Halloween set he drew a Jupiter Mints parody.
