Most collectors treat the checklist card as belonging to the basic set. Four front background colors, yellow, grey, blue and white, were applied to every Sketchboard card, the scarce number 18 among them, producing 96 in all; assembling a run of 24 earned a redemption for the Stan Lee and Mike Wieringo autograph card. Sets that mix backgrounds and omit number 18 are commonly accepted as complete. Reports put the hand-drawn Sketchagraph designs at roughly 85.
