Two of the autograph subjects, Anna Paquin and Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, were not ready in time for pack insertion, so Topps routed those cards to dealers through Diamond Distributors as an incentive for ordering four or more boxes beyond the original sale. Ray Park autographs were used instead as case toppers for the Marvel Legends release. A Halle Berry autograph was planned but abandoned after she was reportedly hospitalized and unable to sign, and the cards were withdrawn and destroyed, although roughly a dozen or fewer unsigned examples were recovered and have surfaced on the secondary market. Costume memorabilia cards are also part of the release.
