Retail sketch cards went mainly to Target and were built around a red color theme, while a separate die-cut group was shaped like helmets such as Vader or a Stormtrooper. Many of those artists came from the Star Wars toy lines and signed with nicknames not all matched to real names. A printing problem dropped the final line from many base cards, leaving some artist credits missing. The autograph cards began as redemption items for the 1994 Star Wars Galaxy Series 2 and several special offers, then were overprinted on the back with a white Galaxy Series 4 logo for pack insertion.
