Every painting in the set comes from Joe Jusko. A factory tin release, limited to 35,000 copies, added five bonus cards available nowhere else, known among collectors as the five lost cards. Jusko also signed complete parallel sets, 5,000 of them numbered plus reportedly a larger quantity of unnumbered signed copies. Printer's proofs and most of the uncut sheets were not meant for public release but have surfaced on the market. Reported errors include a miscut #91 Thing with missing image and text, and a 1-D card backed with portions of the 3-D and 4-D content.
