One basic checklist underlies all three versions. The chromium version alone received chase cards plus a 99-card Gold Signature parallel, and it came eight cards to a pack. Regular card stock carries the same pictures in the Wal-Mart version, sold through those stores at two packs of six for US$1. Five-card packs held the International version, whose box credits Panini as importer while the wrappers and cards say nothing of it. The lower left logo separates the two most easily: Wal-Mart fronts read 1996 Fleer X-Men with a 1995 copyright, International fronts read only Fleer X-Men with a 1996 copyright.
