Star Wars Episode 1 Red Series 1 (Bluebird)

The Star Wars Episode 1 Red Series 1 (Bluebird) set, published by Bluebird Confections, was released in 1999 and has 36 cards. It includes 4 insert sets.

The first numerical grouping of the red Bluebird inserts, packed into chip bags. Fronts use a red background with captions and numbering, backs combine into a puzzle, and singles came wrapped in cellophane. All of these cards run smaller than standard trading card size, unlike the separate 30-card Bluebird series that used the regular format.
